Stellar Leadership
(Using Emotional Intelligence for Star Performance)
When 300 senior executives from 15 global competencies were assessed it was found that Emotional Intelligence distinguished the stars from the average performers. Many organisations including the RAF, American Express and L’Oreal are benefiting from focusing on Emotional Intelligence within their organisations. Join the ‘stars’ with this new and innovative programme brought to you by the North West’s specialists in Leadership Development and Emotional Intelligence.
Who will benefit from the programme?
This programme enhances the ability to influence, inspire, motivate and communicate, leading to greater individual and organisational performance. It is ideal for anyone in a leadership or potential leadership position.
Overview
Being an effective leader influences individual, team and organisational performance. One of the most recent and influential models of leadership is that proposed by Daniel Goleman, which is based on Emotional Intelligence (EI). According to Goleman (1995), ‘In leadership positions almost 90% of the competencies necessary for success are social and emotional in nature’.
This innovative programme includes: EI and personality profiling, feedback and exploration. A series of three one-to-one coaching sessions and attendance at a day long workshop.
Please note: due to the nature of this programme and to ensure that delegates receive individual attention, each workshop is limited to a maximum of 12 delegates. Delegates from the same organisation must book onto separate workshops.
‘Thanks to Anita I feel better able to motivate my team and manage the difficult members more effectively. Plus my stress levels are now under control.’ MQ, GP Practice Manager
‘I now know how to handle what had previously been difficult relationships more effectively. I’m much more aware of how I impact on others, which has had a positive influence on my performance and that of my team.’
SM, Financial Director
‘I hadn’t realised how my behaviour might be perceived as aggressive. I’ve learned how to adapt my style to that of other people and I feel much more in control. Plus people now seem more comfortable to tell me things so I find out what’s really going on’. SR, Managing Director.
As a result of the programme I’ve made ‘better decisions more quickly, I’ve made fewer mistakes, I’ve spent less money making those mistakes’, JR, Managing Director
